Friends

Updated: Jul 25, 2020

Relationships are an important part of our lives. God made us for friendship, to be meaningful and engaging. Some friendships fade naturally while others can grow stronger over time and distance. Note to self is that friendships are like plants you must know when they need to be watered or change the pot because it has outgrown that space. The vines are entangled around each other with little room to grow healthy. We must be willing to let friends go and be willing to receive new friends.

Some of us have friends and others have associates. During this pandemic we may need to be aware of each other’s pain, share the struggles, and interact with integrity, honesty, and transparency. Question- How do you walk with a friend in pain? Are you sensitive to the Holy Spirit to guide you? Sometimes the most powerful thing one can do is be PRESENT! Remember you are not alone.

Our friendships reflect the relationship we have with ourselves. It is important to look for people who will motivate and push you, challenge you to become a better version of yourself. Evaluate over time the areas you need to grow in and track how you have improved. Small steps but it is a major adjustment in seeing a different picture.

Someone recognizes being tweaked “Repurposed for Divine Destiny.” Today honor friendship in your own creative way. Reach out and touch.
