Set It Off

Some of you may remember the movie “Set It Off” starring Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, Kimberly Elise, and Vivica Fox about four women who are pushed to the edge and resort to violence to escape poverty. Interesting how one decision can have a major impact on a person’s life.

Think about it this way, we can set the atmosphere in the space we live to reflect something positive or negative. God uses experiences in life to push us to have personal relationships with Him. Our desire to seek the Lord is often found by being in an atmosphere that focuses only on God. An atmosphere where God’s presence and power intersect. A place where you can commune with the Lord and interact with the Holy Spirit!

Some of us can’t set it off because we are too busy, distracted, and lost our zeal to be near Christ. If you want your atmosphere to change and transform how you are living; don’t fall into the trap of distancing yourself from the opportunity to “Set it Off.” Set it off in a positive way. Look at the photo attached to this post. If you don’t see yourself reflected in some way, it is time to regroup and reset your atmosphere.
