Update Your Narrative

I was watching the Today show and listening to a segment with Maria Shriver. She had written about the loss of her cousin’s only child this past summer. A powerful statement about the life. One lesson learned was how we can get caught up in thinking you are never enough when you listen to the negative dialogue that can replay in your head. The negative replay was the reminder of the various losses from family to marriage, and loss of her personal identity. It is imperative as we begin to return to the routines associated with the fall i.e. back to school and moving out of vacation mode, we learn to update our narrative. Recognizing the signs that make it appear you are not living to your full potential. On the fast track of doing for others that you lose yourself. A look in the mirror shows just how far you’ve let yourself go. How many of us are the “Walking Dead?” We continue to do without ever taking the time to recognize that nagging sense of emptiness and all the time wear the mask!

There is such a freedom that comes with loving yourself, accepting who you are and embracing your purpose. Our world makes us compete and compare. So, learn to update your narrative…

1. Love yourself enough to take the actions necessary for your happiness.

2. Cut yourself off from your drama-filled past…it’s DRAINING you!

3. Redirect your internal dialogue to state that you are ENOUGH.

4. Feed your mind, body, and spirit in a healthier manner.

5. Love yourself to move on! Why, because you deserve more.

6. Be disciplined enough to do the work for more!

7. Don’t be too proud to ask for help.

Someone reading this post recognizes they are being tweaked “Repurposed for Divine

Destiny.” Embrace the process to “Be.” Today, step up your game to be the game changer in your life!
